Emma Börjesson to Lead Halland’s Arena for Health Innovation

As of 1 May, Emma Börjesson is the Acting Head of Operations at Leap for Life. During her 15 years with the organisation, she has held several key positions, including project coordinator and project manager. She now steps into the role of Acting Head of Operations, taking the lead in guiding Leap for Life’s continued development journey.

For many years, Emma has played a key role in helping small and medium-sized enterprises develop products and services in the health and care sectors. Through close collaboration with local authorities, regional bodies and academia, she has been instrumental in shaping the strong culture of innovation that defines Leap for Life today.

“It’s an honour to take on the role of Acting Head of Operations. I look forward to continuing this important work together with our dedicated team and partners, as we help shape the future of healthcare,” says Emma.

With her extensive experience at Leap for Life and deep understanding of Halland’s innovation ecosystem, Emma represents both continuity and the ability to identify new opportunities.

She is a natural leader who understands the importance of collaboration and innovation to create real value,” says Cristofer Englund, Dean of the School of Information Technology at Halmstad University.
