Welcome to the CareWare Nordic Presentation Day, featuring the theme: 3D Printing as a Driver of New Welfare Technology.
Join us for a morning where we explore how 3D printing can be applied within welfare technology and everyday care. This technology makes it possible to develop simple, practical tools quickly and cost-effectively — tools that can ease daily work, support citizens’ independence, and give organisations new opportunities to test and develop ideas close to practice.
You’ll hear from companies, researchers, and professionals who will share real-world examples — from the first idea to a finished prototype. The programme also includes a brief introduction to MDR (Medical Device Regulation) and why it is important to keep in mind when working with 3D printing.
Date: 27 November
Time: 09:00–11:20
Location: Online
Cost: Free to attend, but registration is required
(Please note that most presentations will be in Danish.)
The CareWare Nordic Presentation Day is designed for anyone working with digitalisation in health and social care — including managers, care professionals, service developers, and strategists.
The CareWare Nordic Presentation Day is part of the EU project CareWare Nordic 2, which aims to share knowledge with health and social care staff about available products and services connected to specific themes.
CareWare Nordic 2 is an EU-funded collaboration between Nordic partners in the health and welfare sector. Funded by Interreg Öresund–Kattegat–Skagerrak, the initiative promotes the sharing and testing of innovative technologies across borders. The project highlights how joint Nordic efforts can turn digital innovation into real, practical improvements in health and social care.
