The Health Innovation Scholarship aims to encourage students at Halmstad University to use their bachelor's, one-year master's, or two-year master's thesis to highlight important issues and create innovative solutions to the current challenges within health, care, and welfare. These solutions may involve new ways of working, products, or services.
Leap for Life aims to promote innovation and change within the health sector, and this scholarship is intended to support young innovators and contribute to a more innovative and sustainable future in health. We welcome your application!
The total scholarship amount is SEK 30,000 and will be distributed among three theses, with a minimum of SEK 5,000 awarded to each.
You must be registered at Halmstad University during the spring semester of 2025 in a course (15–30 credits, undergraduate or postgraduate level) that includes writing an academic thesis as a final goal.
Deadline for applications: 19 May 2025
The three winning theses will be selected by an expert panel consisting of representatives from Halland’s municipalities, Halmstad University, the business community, and Region Halland. The evaluation will focus on how well the thesis addresses current challenges within health, care, and welfare, as well as its potential to drive long-term change at both individual and societal levels. The scholarships will be awarded during the University’s graduation fair, Utexpo, on 4 June.
