Key figure within Leap can become the AI Swede of the year

Markus Lingman, chief physician and strategist at Region Halland and one of the key figures behind Leap for Life, is one of five nominees for the prize "AI Swede of the Year". The award is given by the industry and employer organisations Swedish IT and Telecom Industries (IT & Telekomföretagen) and the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries (Teknikföretagen). The winner will be announced on 11 November.

"It is of course fun to be noticed for the work you do. For me, AI is a set of powerful tools whose value will increase as healthcare becomes more information driven. These tools will help healthcare tailor decisions at individual and system level. We have only seen the beginning", says Markus Lingman when he is reached by the announcement of his nomination.
