Markus Lingman is the AI Swede of the year
Yesterday, Markus Lingman, chief physician and strategist at Region Halland and one of the key figures behind Leap for Life, was crowned "AI Swede of the Year”. The award was given by the industry and employer organisations Swedish IT and Telecom Industries (IT & Telekomföretagen) and the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries (Teknikföretagen) during AI Summit 2020.
"I am honoured, both by the award and by working in a creative environment with so many knowledgeable and dedicated people who want to contribute to making life better and longer for others, using the latest technology. This is the earnings of many people. It is a fascinating journey to be a part of", says Markus Lingman shortly after being given the award.
